We are recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join one of our clients in Milton Keynes.

The successful candidate would manage all areas within the workshop such as goods in, purchasing, assembly/kitting, wiring and manufacture, inspection and testing and all processes involved within each function.

Other important aspects of the role are:

* Planning

* Health and safety

* Adhering to budgets & time lines

* Problem solving

* Project management involvement

* Building and electrical testing of prototypes

* Occasional travel (all within 1 hour of Milton Keynes) required to test equipment on sites

To be considered you should have high levels of competency of manufacturing, wiring and engineering practices, electrical testing and related issues including effective utilisation of resource teams (although this is not a man-management role and you do not have any direct reports). Be capable of motivating project/works personnel to achieve results and be an excellent communicator.

Working alongside a small team of people, you will act as the central point of liaison and co-ordination with all departments for all workshop activities, attending regular meetings.

Ideally you should have a qualification in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, Company Car, Free Parking, 31 days holiday, company bonus and pension.
