Our client, is a public distance Learning & Research University and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit a permanent Early Years Manager to join them on 1st September 2021.
This role is paying £26,000 to £28,000 per annum dependent on experience based and is on the campus in Milton Keynes.
The Nursery
Mulberry Bear Day Nursery and Pre-School, rated "Good" by Ofsted and situated on the Open University Campus in Milton Keynes, is committed to providing high quality childcare and education for all its children through play in an enriched environment. We have 54 places for children ranging from babies (3 months) to school age.
The role
They are seeking an experienced individual with a desire and passion for working with children to lead the nursery. The Early Years Manager is the named suitable person in charge of the nursery and responsible for all operational and regulatory aspects. The role holder should provide professional leadership and management of the nursery, effectively managing the day to day running of the nursery and deliver the highest standards of care and education.
Skills and Experience
You will hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years at Level 3 or above, understand the requirements of the EYFS and Ofsted and have at least 2 years' experience working in a busy nursery setting in a management position. You should also have experience of working with babies and upwards and be a strong team player with excellent leadership skills.
