FEmbedded Firmware engineers required

My client based in High Wycombe are looking to hire a firmware engineer to work in a team, following a structured development process to design, write and test C++ firmware (embedded software) for hardware.
The daily duties include:
To work with project Stakeholders to define requirements & specifications.
Effectively manage and prioritise your own tasks and work packages to meet agreed objectives and
deadlines.
Share in the team's responsibilities to deliver product on time and within budget.
To work collaboratively with the wider Engineering team and internal customers.
Mentoring & coaching more junior engineers to realise potential and raise skill levels.
Occasional visits to Customer site to assist in the resolution of customer issues.
Key Skills:
Must have demonstrable programming skills and experience in C++ in a real-time operating system environment.
Proven track-record of working in a project team delivering high quality commercial products.
Ability to design, write, debug, commission and test software and firmware.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Visual Studio to write and debug C++.
Good communications skills within the team and at all levels within the company.
Ability to prioritise effectively when working on multiple projects and/or tasks.
Degree in Physics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering with relevant post graduate industrial firmware experience in areas such as robotics, machine control, engine management systems, medical equipment.Key Experiences
Experience of developing industrial control and monitoring systems (e.g. robotics, machine control, engine management systems, medical equipment).
Knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design and experimental methods of evaluating a design.
Successful use of Agile methodologies.
UML – ability to create and understand Class, Sequence and State diagrams.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Ability to contribute to continuous improvement goals
