£30 – £40k + Bonus + 33 days holidays + flexible working + progression
8:15am – 17:00pm Mon-Thurs and 8:15am – 12:30pm Friday

Are you a Bid / Tendering / Proposal Engineer with good understanding of Electrical, Electronic and PLC systems? Are you looking to join a prestigious company which has been established for over 100 years and invests in its people?
I have a fantastic opportunity with a Client specialising in electrical equipment, components and systems for the defence sector and works on a wide range of UK and foreign naval platforms and new builds etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of the technical response to bids and opportunities, whilst working with supplier and partners to identify optimum solutions. The role will be taking over work currently undertaken by the MD and Business Development Director. The successful candidate will benefits from full support during the transition period and report in to the BDD, making this a senior role.
The Role
* Creating and owning the overall technical response.
* Working with the Engineering Department for technical parts of the bid.
* Creating project management plans.
Candidate Requirements
* An engineering degree or equivalent work-based experience
* Sound appreciation of electrical, electronic and PLC systems
* Strong business acumen
* Security Clearance (SC)
