Design Manager
Aylesbury

The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Manager to work for a Joint Venture on HS2. Our client brings together international, market leading expertise from some of the most successful civil engineering and construction companies.

They are responsible for the delivery of an 80km stretch of new high speed rail link including 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation. Making the project one of Europe’s most prestigious civil engineering schemes.

We're seeking to recruit a Design Manager with Highways, Earthworks, Drainage or Structures experience. In this role you will manage and deliver the Design in accordance with the Programme and the Client’s requirements across a section of scheme with 2-4 team members reporting into you.

Criteria:
• Degree or relevant HND / HNC
• Experience working for a main contractor
• Experience as a Design Manager
• Experience in Highways, Drainage, Structures or Earthworks schemes

In return:
• Between £60,000 to £65,000 basic salary DOE
