Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Officer –Advertising and Sponsorship to join our team based in High Wycombe with the possibility to regularly work from home by prior agreement with your line manager. You will join us on a permanent, full-time basis working 35hrs per week. In return you will receive a competitive salary of Circa £24,500 per annum plus 36 days holiday a year including bank holidays.
The Commercial Officer role:
The Commercial Officer – Advertising and Sponsorship acts as an administrator within the Commercial Services department of Coeliac UK, the charity for people who need a gluten free diet. The Commercial Services department creates and maintains partnerships with commercial organisations that have a vested interest in the gluten-free market; this includes manufacturers, retailers, foodservice companies, and caterers (including restaurants, hotels and others).
Key responsibilities of the Commercial Officer:
Responsible for proactively managing fulfilment of our inbound sales enquiries
To assist in handling the Gluten Free Accreditation (GFA) scheme providing holiday cover for GFA Commercial Officer
Assist in handling the Crossed Grain Trademark (CGT) product certification scheme providing holiday cover for the Licensing Commercial Officer
For both GFA and CGT schemes provide support for updating our CRM system (Workbooks) and website.
Responsible for all administration of our advertising and sponsorship sales including supporting fulfilment of our print and digital advertising in our members’ magazine, the Coeliac UK website, electronic newsletters and mobile apps
Responsible for management of sales quotas for our advertising and sponsorship
Ensure the CRM database (Workbooks) and monitoring reports are updated for all advertising and sponsorship sales
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the Commercial Officer:
Excellent attention to detail, organisation and administration skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent communication skills – oral and written, confident telephone manner.
Analytical and numerical skills
Excellent IT skills – ideally experience with MS Office, CRM/database use, email marketing services
Results driven
Team player with practical, positive and flexible attitude
Able to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
Knowledge of catering and the FMCG food market would be of benefit though not essential
Experience of managing financial transactions would be an advantage
Enthusiastic to help with a variety of projects
