We are looking for an experienced Senior Copywriter or Head of Copy, with strong B2B experience in the technology sector, to fill an exciting position within a thriving B2B digital creative agency. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to lead a growing copywriting team (as part of the Creative Studio), working on marketing campaigns, blogs and assets for global tech brands. The role is full-time and permanent with flexible working and comes with a salary of £50K-£60K.

The Role
As Head of Copy, you will play a key role in the success of the growing studio team, and as subject matter expert, you will take ownership of copy delivery and mentor your team. Naturally, you need to be able to write to exceptional standards, creatively and technically, across multiple formats (long and short form). You also need to be adept at achieving client tone of voice and objectives, managing expectations and developing solutions to meet communication challenges. Your role supports clients and colleagues, providing editing, proofing and coaching when needed (as well as answering the odd punctuation or grammar question along the way!). The role will also involve working closely with the Creative Director and designers to create and articulate brand and campaign concepts to engage target audiences.
About You
With significant agency experience under your belt, and experience mentoring other copywriters, you will add value to the creative process. You are invested in the success of what you write, for both the client and the agency. You have B2B experience (ideally including technology and fintech) and have a knack for writing eye-catching, meaningful headlines that grab the reader's attention. You are unfazed by technical or complex information and are used to carrying out research and asking the right questions to get to the heart of what matters most.
You can quickly and skilfully originate and adapt content for the relevant audience and media while working within the client's brand guidelines. You love being part of a team and working collaboratively, and – above all – you are an advocate for your craft.
