Our client, a leading distributor of fasteners in Europe, is looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to join their team to drive sales and seek new business in the Midlands.
The Role:
You will be responsible for bringing in new business, managing accounts, developing relationships with new/existing accounts and following up on sales leads. Due to the nature of this company's clients ideal candidates will have prior experience/knowledge within the Engineering/Manufacturing sector.
You'll spend 4 days of the week out in the field and 1 day in their office, based in Aylesbury. There is no people management within this role however you will be working alongside a small team.
The Requirements:
* In date/valid driving licence (could be driving up to 1hr/1hr 30m to meet with clients)
* Previous background within an account management/business development/field sales role
* Possess technical knowledge/sales
* Self-motivated
* Experience following up on leads and closing deals
Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills such as relationship management, strong communication and have an adaptive personality to build rapport with a variety of clients.
The Reward:
* Annual salary of £30,000 – £35,000
* Commission
* Company car (electric) & equipment
* Scope to develop into a more Senior position
