The role…
As the Product Manager your role will involve the following important duties:
* Work closely with the regional sales team, our channel partners across the globe and the R&D team to create and maintain a compelling vision and strategy for the products.
* Responsible for the overall success and growth of Key Management Solutions.
* Develop a deep understanding of our technologies, the market and the evolutions of use cases for our solutions.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to help shape and prioritise the future roadmap and generational plans.
* You will be the conduit through which the R&D team will gain a clear understanding of the wider business context and value associated to the functions and features they are developing.
* Drive the success and growth of the key management solutions portfolio, owning the product vision, strategy, generation plans and short-term roadmap.
* Develop, maintain and share market insight, seeking inspiration for innovation from other markets.
* Manage the profitability and market performance of your portfolio.
The experience required…
As a successful Product Manager, you will have the following:
* 5+ years proven 'cradle to grave' product management experience working in a B2B technology-based environment with Agile teams and methodologies.
* Proven, strong balance of commercial and technical prowess with a keen ability to assess the priority, urgency and importance of issues or challenges.
* Solid strategic planning and portfolio management experience with meticulous attention to detail.
* Active listener, with outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
* Highly organised, self-disciplined with strong planning and time management skills.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
Desirables…
* Experience with Jira and Confluence.
* Experience in working with both hardware and software solutions and a number of aligned vertical markets.
* Experience in the security, key & equipment management, or access control systems market.
Summary of the Product Manager role…
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Location: Olney
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm flexible. Office-based initially but then remote working is an option.
