This is a pivotal role that will fill the existing gap in the Dominos development team. You'll focus on improving many parts of the user journey so that we can provide a great experience to our customers.

In this role you will gain an opportunity to develop across the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis to delivery. Your typical work requirements will expose you to a variety of technologies as part of building effective web sites.

For any work you will undertake both individually or collectively, we will support you in adhering to development standards, architecture designs and standard methodology through review and feedback.

Responsibilities include

Software engineering specialist, who can advise and contribute to a website's future vision.
Demonstrate your own skills and capability as an authority in front-end and API development.
Build your own knowledge and mentor others in the development of web applications.
Develop and maintain software you are responsible for, including supporting and improving it.
Work closely with product owners, designers and design agencies to ensure implementation matches expectations and are technically correct.
Write software which compiles to standard methodologies and is of a high quality.
As part of a scrum team you will elaborate, refine and provide estimates for development work.
Work closely with product owners and architects to analyse and understand requirements to deliver effective solutions.You will be expected to have knowledge of the following:

Proven experience of the following technologies:

JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js and Express
Automated testing frameworks, e.g. Mocha, Cypress.
Experience working in service-based environments and with API's (REST/GraphQL).
Design patterns, data structures, web architecture, and understand how to design pragmatic solutions.Desirable skills:

js and Vue tools such as Nuxt.js and Vuex or equivalent technologies, e.g. ReactJS
Server-side rendering.
