Our client, a highly regarded organisation with a flexible and supportive working environment, is looking to source a talented Management Accountant to join on an initial 12 month FTC. This is an exciting and broad role with lots of business partnering with Senior Management and Directors.
Main duties include:
* Preparing monthly reporting pack for designated departments
* Meeting with Managers and Directors to discuss cost performance and trends
* Investigating and reporting on key areas of the business
* Reconciling balance sheet accounts at month end
* Identify cost trends (opportunities and risk)
* Preparing bottom-up annual budget and agreeing target cost improvements with senior management
* Updating rolling forecast
* Highlighting any weaknesses in controls
Key skills and experience required:
* Strong management accounting experience
* Confident communicator, capable of building relationships with senior stakeholders
* Intermediate Excel
* Proactive and positive approach to tasks and problem solving
* Strong work ethic, can prioritise workload and flex priorities to manage through busy periods
