We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join the team of a growing accountancy practice at its Marlow office. This is a fantastic firm that is going through an exciting phase of expansion and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to build on existing experience and develop further.

This accountancy firm is looking for talented accountants to nurture and train into becoming well-rounded Accounts Managers who will take care of and manage a portfolio of clients, being the first point of contact for their accounting needs and enquiries.

As Financial Accountant your responsibilities will include:

* Statutory accounts preparation

* Management accounts

* Acting as Client Accounts Manager

* Client onboarding

* Limited companies – year end accounts and corporation tax

* Partnerships, sole traders and landlords

* VAT, personal tax, SA returns, capital gains tax, P11Ds

We welcome applications from those with the following experience and attributes:

* AAT/ACCA/ACA part qualified/qualified or QBE with at least 2-3 years practice background

* Client facing experience would be advantageous

* Experience of all or most of the tasks listed above (some training can be provided)

* Some experience of working with outsourced bookkeeping would be an advantage

* Positive, proactive outlook and approach

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong IT skill; MS Office suite and experience of accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent
