This role will suit an experienced Field Service Manager or office based Service Manager with experience of managing a team of Field Service Engineers  in the food industry. You will be working for a market leading packaging and process machinery company who have tripled in size over the last 10 years and are looking to continue that growth going forward.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £50,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Manager – process machinery : food industry
 
This is an office based service management role where you will be managing a team of between 5 and 10 Field Service Engineers alongside a field based Service Manager as well as liaising with clients to ensure repeat business and trouble shooting as required.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Manager – process machinery : food industry
 
· You MUST have a proven track record of managing or supervising a team of Field Service Engineers
· You WILL either be currently office based or want to move to an office based rather than a field based role
· Any specific experience of process & / or packaging machinery used in the food industry would be very advantageous
· The company will also consider an experienced food factory Maintenance Engineer who is managing a team of Maintenance Engineers and has hands on packaging & / or process machinery knowledge
· You WILL be a qualified multi skilled Engineer (electrical & mechanical)
