Welder/Fabricator

Rate: £25per hour (Umbrella)
Shifts: Days
Hours: 40 – 60hours a week average
Duration: 6 months +
Industries considered: Rail, Aerospace & Marine

Qualifications and experience:
Qualified (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator ideally within Rail Rolling stock, Marine or similar

The Company
The company are Specialists in refurbishment within the rail industry. They complete overhaul and modification programmes to various rail vehicles. They also offer vehicle interior maintenance and can offer a full turnkey solution for any refurbishment project in the rail industry.

Job Description
You will be part of a small team carrying out corrosion work on class 156 Rail Vehicles. You will use MIG Welding process to repair mainly mild steel on these Vehicles. You should also be a Team player who is prepared to carry out other duties as required by the project/ business.

Ideal Candidate
*MIG Welding Experience within Rail/ Aerospace/ Marine
*Apprenticeship/ Level 3 Qualified
*Fabrication experience of various different materials
