IT Application Support Graduate

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £22,000k per year

Our market leading client is looking to hire an IT Application Support Graduate to join them during this exciting period of strategical growth!

As the IT Application Support Graduate, you will be providing second line software/IT support and system administration for the systems used by the workforce. You will be responsible for maintaining service availability, alongside dealing with the development and management of the Client’s internal systems built on a range of languages and hardware.

Duties of an IT Application Support Graduate:

* Identifying, resolving and clarifying IT issues

* Using the latest technologies and innovations including Open Source LAMP solutions to commercial software such as GE Small World and Salesforce, whilst also dealing with support requests

* Liaising and supporting any custom code / systems which are delivered

* Supporting the Client’s resellers in consuming their public API services, both in testing and production

* Keeping software, datasets and systems up to date

* Maintaining a quality service to all users

Required knowledge, skills & experience of an IT Application Support Graduate:

* Degree qualified 2:1 minimum achieved (or expected)

* Clear career aspirations demonstrated through employment or work experience/placement

* Ability to problem solving in a dynamic environment

* Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

* Comfortable in a target driven environment

* Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
