As a Dementia Connect Local Services Manager you will provide local leadership and management of local services, across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes, working mainly across Oxfordshire and Milton Keynes, supporting the Area Manager to deliver the Alzheimer’s Society New deal on Dementia strategy.
Service Manager Responsibilities:
You will lead the local delivery of our new and innovative Dementia Connect service, ensuring that service is high quality, person centred, safe and people affected by dementia are at the heart of service delivery.
The Dementia Connect Local Services Manager will report directly to the Area Manager and will be a member of the South Region management team. They will directly line manage Dementia Support Workers and other roles as locally appropriate.

Service Manager Requirements:
As a Dementia Connect Local Services Manager you will be someone who can demonstrate the ability to influence and manage relationships with stakeholders to take forward our dementia connect service. We are looking for someone who has experience in influencing key roles in Health & Social Care sector to ensure we are the go-to provider for dementia services and deliver quality services in line with our wider strategic needs.
You will have experience as a great people manager, having led teams to enable them to deliver high performance outcomes and work collaboratively to provide an excellent service. We want someone who role models our values and behaviours in all they do, who can work effectively with internal teams to achieve mutual outcomes. You should have experience of successfully managing change from start to end and will need to be highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
To be successful in this job you will have a positive and proactive attitude to challenging situations and problem solving, using a collaborative and engaging approach with your team.

Position: Dementia Connect Local Services Manager
Location: Flexible across the Area boundaries in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & Milton Keynes
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Part Time, 28 hours per week
Salary: £32,622 – £35,624 actual per annum (depending on skills and experience)
