MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintaining SKU Data in SAP APO for forecasting purposes.
· Updating the sales forecast in compliance with the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
· Updating historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.
· Collecting cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine review the forecast model to reflect agreed sales and marketing assumptions.
· Implementing changes to represent sales forecast agreed for future periods.
· Maintaining and communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Forecast Accuracy, BIAS, SKU count, new product development (NPD).
· Providing information to coordinate with the planning functions review the sales forecasts as well as the risks and opportunities to Senior Demand Planner to ensure good coordination of the actions to be carried out throughout the supply chain thus promoting optimized management of stocks and slobs.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
· Proven experience in the industry on the similar position.
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or relevant field.
· APICS or other forecasting Certification preferred.
· Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding. Knowledge of SAP/APO is preferred.
· Very strong experience in MS Excel usage.
· Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
· Very good interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
