Paterson Recruitment are recruiting Catering Assistants for our client who is a school in Buckinghamshire. Due to working within a school you will be required to undergo a DBS check. You must be a car driver due to location within a National Trust Park.

As a catering assistant you will be responsible for setting up and clearing away after meals. You will be assisting with the serving of meals, drinks to the pupils, staff and visitors to the school.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Set up dining areas ready for meals.

Cleaning the dinning area after meals.

Help serve dinners alongside other catering assistants.

Ensuring pupils and staff with dietary requirements are served the correct meal.

Maintain the required level of hygiene standards.

Liaise with the Head Chef to the duties needed to be carried out.

ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS:

Ability to cope under pressure, in a calm and efficient manner to set deadlines

A warm and friendly personality

High standards of cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene

Excellent team player

Physically fit as you will be on your feet serving to tables during the working hour.

WORKING HOURS:

This is a temporary position working 16:30hrs to 19:30hrs Monday to Friday
