Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant

Basic salary: £22,000

Hours: 37.5 hrs
Holiday Entitlement: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
Remote: 2 Days Office – 3 Days home (once comfortable in role)
A prestigious and growing business based in the Milton Keynes area are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The person will be joining a great team of staff who offer a really good working atmosphere and approach to work.
Required experience:
Previous experience working in an accounts team (Please don't apply without this)
Experience of MS programmes including Excel and Outlook
Desired – Previous use of SAGE 200The role:
Processing & matching carrier purchase invoices and POD retrieval for scanning onto our systems
Liaising with department representatives in order to clear carrier invoices for payment
Responsible for reconciling supplier accounts
Ability to deal with queries – resolving discrepancies within supplier accounts
Assisting finance team with month end procedures
Candidate needs to have the ability to organise work and be self motivated
Candidate needs to have strong communication skills and be able to work as part of a team and on their own where required
Processing monthly payment runs
Dealing with monthly expenses, company credit cards and petty cash
