for a British Gas Contract, candidates will live ideally within Milton Keynes area – responsible for QC’ing and managing a team of Agency and Sub Contracting Gas Engineers doing domestic service, repair & installations.
The role includes on site management and supervision, resource/workload planning of directly employed operatives, engineers and subcontractors, including finishing trades, ensuring high quality, timely and safe works order contract delivery and client/customer liaison.
Ensuring adherence to company process and administration systems, which includes maintaining documented records and reporting daily, weekly, monthly on performance related activities such as: Health & Safety, inductions, method, risk & COSSH assessments, AI`s/RFI/CVI toolbox talks, quality audits/inspections
SPECIFIC DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
In conjunction with the Contract Administration team, allocate and progress works using the company`s software system Accuserv accompanied by the individual’s PDAs.
2.
Undertake technical and quality site pre/post inspections.
3.
When required, attend client performance review meetings.
4.
Carry out client surveys and price as appropriate, ensuring Accuserv job number is used for the quote.
5.
Ensure all operational staff comply with the Companies H&S/Quality Policy standards.
6.
Ensure compliance with Construction Phase Health & Safety plan.

7.
Ensure operational staff follow the due process for hazard awareness and risk assessments` to ensure compliance with the safety policy.
8.
Liaise with the Contract Administrators to resource plan allocated engineers/suppliers’ daily workloads in line with company protocols/procedures and work programmes
9.
Monitor direct labour and subcontractor competence, productivity and compliance including checking certification, Gas Safe, NICEIC and other certification as required.
10.
Ensure Health & Safety and fleet compliancy in line with company policies.
11.
Ensure engineers are wearing appropriate uniform, PPE and displaying their company I.D`s.
