Bridge Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Site Manager with 5 years’ experience working for a successful fit-out contractor based in Buckinghamshire.
Fit out experience is vital, this would suit somebody with main or sub-contractor experience with a carpentry bias.
The ideal candidate will have a carpentry background and has developed to Site Manager level. You will oversee projects from £20k – £6 million, managing teams of 10-40 people.
You will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and MD.
This role is 99% site based, covering the South East/Midlands with occasional projects in the South West.
Responsibilities
* Scheduling cost control procurement. Reviewing programmes, drawings, specifications, shop drawings etc.
* Client facing ability to run site meetings.
* Control of sub-contract labour
* Deliver projects to high standard with an eye for detail.
* Knowledge of MEP services
* Health & safety & RAMS implementations.
* Documenting snagging works to close out and achieve handover.
* Liaising with suppliers, contractors and manufacturers.
* Liaising with demolition contractors
* Expertise in planning
* Overseeing fit-out Cat-A Projects.

* SMSTS
* NVQ6 Construction site management
* First Aid
* Asbestos awareness
* Black CSCS card
* Computer literate – MS project etc
Must hold a driving license, (no more than 3 points for insurance purposes) with an ability to work where required.
The Candidate must fit into a small team and have a positive can do attitude.
The client is offering an annual salary of £40,000 – £55,000 + a company vehicle
