Our client has a permanent vacancy for IT Desktop and Systems Support. They operate in a friendly and agile culture and are seeking just the right person that will fit in with this. You will be responsible for the Installation, Configuration and Support 1st/2nd line desktop support to end users.

The role:

Install and configure software as required.

Resolve JIRA tickets within agreed SLA’s.
The role also includes AD User Management tasks such as New Starters and Leavers, assigning Security Group membership and password management.

Install and Relocate PC’s, Printers and Peripherals

Provide First to Third line support to users via the helpdesk call logging system and taking ownership from initiation through to completion.
Knowledge of VMWare administration tasks such as cloning, extending disk partitions and creating guest VM servers along with problem solving.

Telephony Administration of the user base

User training on internal systems, printers etc.

Team work is an essential part of the department.

Travel between sites may be required

Out-of-Hours support on a shift rota

Requirements:

▪ A minimum of 2 years previous experience in an IT support role. Supporting Windows.

▪ Delivery Focused with excellent organisational skills.

▪ Extensive knowledge of MS office 365. Including SharePoint & OneDrive.

▪ Different levels of Outlook/Exchange knowledge.

▪ Understanding of working in an office and maintaining a professional attitude whilst under pressure.

▪ Ability to follow instruction and documentation to the letter, as well as write documentation.

▪ Mobile Phone Support, Android and iOS.
