Our client, the UK's leading distributor of cycle parts and accessories, are looking for a Magento Developer to join their team. This is a senior role in a small team and you will be the SME related to Magento.

Key Responsibilities:

Writing clean code to produce and evolve web-hosted Magento sites.
Optimising the build for performance and speed according to current insights and protocols.
Liaising with colleagues and clients to fully understand build objectives and translate them into deliverable requirements.
Working within their preferred platforms/frameworks, and keep skills updated with new technologies as appropriate.
Write back end technical code to coding practices and standards
Code reviews with peers
Planning and scheduling project work and estimating deadlines (which are realistic)
Communicate and work directly with peers
Maintain and lead the standard practices when it comes to writing code
Be involved in projects from the beginning right through to the release
Updating and maintaining projectsWhat we are looking for:

Proven ability to learn quickly and apply technology-related knowledge to make connections and problem solve.
Excellent organizational and administration skills.
High standard of written and spoken English.
Accurate and detailed thinker with obsessive attention to detail. Never satisfied with OK.
