An internationally recognised manufacturing business supplying cutting edge diagnostic and test technologies are currently seeking an Engineering Director to pioneer innovative new product development strategies within their current product range specifically to the EV sector.

The Engineering Director duties:

Establish technical direction across the organization with a sound and pragmatic approach to delivering engineering strategy.
Develop new offerings to an already extensively establish customer base.
Using experience gained within the Electric Vehicle and Battery marketplace, develop innovative new products, capable of establishing a strong market position.
Manage overall engineering budget and costs.
Management of multi disciplines leads of Software, Mechanical, Applications and Production teams
Utilise best practice engineering methods and provides expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives. The Engineering Director will have:

A senior Engineering professional with significant experience within an Automotive OE / Aftermarket business.
Strong technical understanding of automotive powertrain systems technology including EV battery systems – cell, module, and pack level.
Capable of driving an engineering function to deliver results.
Experience delivering an engineered product from conception through to introduction.
Strong understanding on ECU control strategies
