Commercial Tyre Fitter
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED & JOINING BONUS PAID

As a Commercial Tyre fitter for Tructyre it’ll be your responsibility to make sure you’re getting around and inspecting your portfolio of customer fleets in a timely manner. You’ll need to book in with your customers initially, but as you build relationships with them, you’ll know when to be there and they’ll know when to expect you. While doing your inspections you’ll need to look for signs that their tyres either need to be replaced, repaired, re-grooved or turned on the rim. Once you’ve completed any inspections, you’ll need to either do the work on site or re-book to come back and carry out all the repairs. You’ll also be responsible for any emergency breakdown work that needs completed in your area, and you’ll be on call a couple of times a week too as our business is a 24/7 operation.
In order for you to be able to do the role, you’ll need a full UK diving license, and some experience of fitting tyres on any kind of commercial vehicle would be beneficial, although we’re happy to train someone from scratch too. If you were a REACT card holder as well, that would be ideal, although by no means is this essential. You’ll be proficient in talking to customers and building relationships, as well as being able to think on your feet and offer solutions to customers. You’ll also be comfortable working on your own, as this will be the case at times
Our Commercial Tyre Fitters get a competitive basic salary of up to £28,824 depending on experience, a joining bonus of up to £800 (where applicable) as well as a monthly bonus and call out payment on top (average is around £650 a month combined).
