We are partnered with a leading organisation in their field who are seeking a hands on and experienced Payroll Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role has come about due to an internal promotion.
Responsibilities include but will be limited to:
Lead and co-ordinate the end to payroll operations
Oversee a large team – recruit, develop and motivate
Support the implementation team
Attend regular client service meetings
Suggest and lead on service process improvements
Manage end to end monthly and year end payroll process
Plan and manage policiesExperience required:
Large team management in a high volume/multi-sited payroll environment
Experience of LGPS/Teachers pension and experience within education/public sector background is highly desirableThis position will be temporarily remote, with a hybrid working set up long term.
Working hours are 37.5 a week, with 25 days annual leave, season ticket loans and life assurance, amongst some other great benefits.
