Milton Keynes – Hybrid WFH/Office
£35,000 (OTE £10,000)

We are recruiting for an innovative and experienced Account Manager to work in a fast paced, highly successful company within the energy industry. Our client is delivering award winning service to customers in more places and organically growing within the Utility Sector.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for a group of clients and accounts and exploring and developing market potential. This role would particularly suit someone with knowledge of Metering and Data Collection market.
The ideal candidate will be able to work from home and commute into the office based in Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain high level relationships with customers/clients
* Ensure profitable delivery of work through effective relationships across all departments
* Upsell where possible to achieve growth targets
* Deliver profitable work through accurate campaigns and projects quoting to an agreed price book
* Client engagement and commercial negotiation
* Financial management and reporting of client portfolio
* Support new business development activity
* Contributing to the management of the business as a part of the sales and marketing department
Skills and Experiences
* Account Management experience
* Evidence of upselling and renewal activity
* Ability to develop strategic relationships
* Knowledge of the Metering and Data Collection market
* Ability to multitask
* Be able to demonstrate multi account ownership
* Problem solver – technical ability to decipher information
* Good communicator and ability to interact at all levels – how to build relationships with people and teams
* High level commercial exposure (networking a C level)
* Ability to think creatively and take initiative
* Ability to deal with, influence and motivate other senior members of staff
* Have a ‘get up and go’ attitude using own initiative
