Inhouse Bookkeeper – Tring
Salary: £24,000 – £30,000 plus monthly bonus potential
Hours: Full Time
Holiday 26 days, increases 1 day per year up to 5 days
Waste King Group is a specialist collections company established for over 12 years. We operate a variety of businesses within the waste management industry from skip hire on a nationwide scale, to commercial hazardous waste solutions. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager.
As the Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports across the Waste King Group of companies, as well as maintaining the accounting systems on a day-to-day basis. This position would suit an existing Bookkeeper, Accounts Manager or an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for their next challenge.
Additionally, you will be responsible for submitting the quarterly VAT returns and preparing information for the payroll agency to enable them to calculate the monthly payrolls; as well as assisting the Credit Controller in maintaining and reconciling the purchase and sales ledgers.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar environment, strong knowledge of Sage, and be familiar with all aspects of bookkeeping including fixed assets and depreciation. Experience of producing management reports to strict deadlines is also essential. To succeed in this position, you will need to be an enthusiastic and proactive individual and able to work alone as well as part of a team
