On behalf of a highly successful regional contractor, we have an opportunity for a Contract Manager to join the team delivering construction projects up to £3M across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northants and the surrounding areas.
The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that the sites are resourced effectively to deliver a first class building whilst ensuring compliance with contractual standards. The company also holds collaboration at the heart of their ethos so team working and problem solving is always high on the agenda.
Working across the automotive, education, commercial, industrial and leisure sectors, key accountabilities will include:
* Lead a team of Site Managers and Supervisors to successful project completion through effective management, monitoring and reviewing Client satisfaction across the projects
* Provide practical solutions to design, logisitcs and buildabilty from tender stage through to completion
* Ensure that the right sub-contractors are engaged and performing through collaboration and feedback
* Liaise with the Quantity Surveyors on all commercial matters, ensuring accurate financial management is achieved as a team
* Ensure Health and Safety compliance in adherence with company and industry standards
* Provide monthly progress reports with an appraisal on budget, programme, quality and SHEQ
We are looking for an experienced construction professional who:
* Has a proven track record in managing new build and refurbishment projects £2M+
* Has a proven track record in managing a large and diverse Supply Chain, as well as direct trades
* Be fully compliant and has a proven track record in Health and Safety Management.
* Has proven commercial acumen in running large multiple contracts
To be successful in this role you will be an excellent communicator able to influence at all levels, be highly organised and driven to achieve high levels of client satisfaction
