Senior Consultant – Marketing Technology Consultancy

A Midlands-based boutique, independent consultancy specialising in marketing technology strategy, sourcing, implementation, and support services, is urgently seeking a Senior Consultant to lead on diverse consulting projects with clients and in-house.

Client consulting engagements range from small projects over several weeks, through to multi-month or multi-year programs.

The Company

The team of 12 aims to simplify marketing technology for clients, enabling global and local brands to overcome the challenges of a fragmented marketing technology stack, supporting them in their source, selection and decision processes, and helping clients to improve the utilisation of their existing marketing technology investment through effective adoption and best practice programs.

Services include technology and business strategy consultancy, competitive analysis and reviews, requirements and demand management, operating model optimisation, benchmarking, procurement and vendor source & selection services, technology implementation / activation, training and best practice, technology support services, data and content support services.

Over the past 5 years they have successfully delivered projects across a range of global and well-known corporations and brands and collaborated with leading advertising agencies, production partners and technology vendors.

The Role

As a Senior Consultant you will lead on a very diverse range of projects.

Activities include strategic advisory / technology consulting and discovery, operating model and functional transformation programs, requirements management/demand management, PMO and project management support, platform implementations, program support and large-scale training engagements.

The time on any project is typically split between engagement onsite at the customer location (subject to COVID-19 restrictions), and engagement remotely depending on the nature and geographic make-up of the customer.

The Person

You will have a background in either project-based engagements or consulting-based engagements within the technology (or technology related) sector.

8+ years' experience in delivering technology programs, projects or consulting with mid-to-large size companies
Experience working with B2B enterprise technology
Appreciation and experience of mainstream project and product development methodologies
Experience utilizing modern project management and product management tools
Strong analytical skills, problem solving and analysis skills
Experience in working in Agile/SCRUM methodology
Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skillsExperience in the areas of MarTech, AdTech, Content Management, Marketing Production Tech are an advantage but not essential.
