Quality Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Marketing Manager for our Milton Keynes client. You will be based in the office.

This is a permanent role Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Take a proactive approach to the role and develop a team culture of "don’t be afraid to challenge, just do it respectfully!".

* Support Group Marketing Manager in planning all marketing activity for each quarter.

* Develop exceptional relationships with key agency partners, ensuring thorough understanding of all manufacturer marketing campaigns and expert knowledge of marketing portals

* Working with full Marketing team, taking overall responsibility for timely submission of quarterly marketing plans, implementation of agreed actions and provision of evidence to manufacturer partners.

* Key point of contact for all Sales, Fleet and Aftersales Management teams at all branches

* Management of team workload and deliverables, ensuring all deadlines are achieved and Group Marketing Manager is kept updated on progress of all activity

* Comply with all Company procedures and policies.

* Complete marketing activity as directed by the Group Marketing Manager and other reasonable requests by the Management team, including Sales, Aftersales and Fleet

Skills/Requirements:

* At least 4 years experience working in a marketing role within the automotive industry.

* Thorough understanding of retail, aftersales and fleet departments.

* Knowledge of SEO, paid search (Adwords), online display advertising plus targeted advertising across all key social media platforms (eg: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) is ideal, as well as a general understanding of Google Analytics.

* Expertise in briefing agencies on creative and print projects.

* Experience of website content management systems and email marketing platforms.

* Good knowledge of DMS systems and experience in using them – preferably Keyloop Drive, but V8/REV8 or similar experience also highly valued.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Good numeracy and time management skills.

* Excellent relationship building skills.

* Previous involvement in managing staff preferred.

* Marketing qualifications desirable.

Understanding of the automotive industry and previous experience is essential.
