Food & Digital Communications Specialist

Based in Milton Keynes

We're looking for a talented and experienced Food and Digital Communications Specialist to work closely with the Food & Digital Comms Manager to protect and enhance Domino's reputation and commercial environment by ensuring Domino's is ahead of evolving consumer, social, political and economic expectations. You will execute a proactive and reactive communications programme covering Marketing, Digital and IT (UK and Ireland) across multiple communications disciplines (external and internal) to engage all stakeholders.

You will be providing strategic counsel to influence behaviours, decisions and actions, building reputation from the inside out whilst supporting the day-to-day activity of our two PR agencies.

This role will also deputise for the Food & Digital Comms Manager when needed.

Responsibilities include

Strategic counsel

Support the Food & Digital Communications Manager with internal stakeholder management by building strong relationships with functional Managers and Assistant Managers, establishing yourself as a trusted and respected source of strategic counselMarketing, IT & Digital

Work with Marketing, IT and Digital Managers and Assistant Managers cross functional colleagues to be part of decision-making conversations around the Marketing calendarCrisis & Issues Management

Anticipate, identify and minimise emerging issues, which may negatively impact the Group's corporate reputation with regards to food, health, marketing, IT and digital.Reputation Management & Public Affairs

Support the delivery of a proactive reputation strategy around health which supports the strategic priorities of the business, organisation transformation, as well as protecting and promoting the brandBrand Communications

Build strong relationships with Managers and Assistant Managers to implement brand building campaigns that positively influence engagement, behaviour and sales to protect Domino's position as culturally relevant and the category leader
Work with the two agencies to engage influential national consumer affairs and issue relevant journalists to ensure they have a positive understanding of the Domino's brand, leaning on personal media contacts when requiredWhat are we looking for?

A determined, resourceful and results-focused Communications professional with experience across the full communications mix with at least 4 years proven experience. You will have gained the skills required to deliver outstanding results, contributing to the Group's strategic priorities, within a fast-moving, solution-focused environment. Personal credibility, enthusiasm, resilience and a flair for innovation will be essential for success.

This is a proactive and busy role which requires enthusiasm, energy and a focus on helping to devise creative strategies focused on delivering against business objectives and strategic priorities. The job holder will need to be able handle complex issues, think creatively and manage multiple and competing priorities. You will have experience across a broad range of communications disciplines – ideally both internal and external – including supporting effective multi-channel campaigns

You will have a good understanding of consumer trends, including the influencer environment and have a good understanding of the social, political and economic environment in the UK and Ireland
