The role is a key position within the Training Delivery Team. Within this, the Planning & Scheduling team works across the contract to plan for the delivery of first-class learning for our clients’ Network through effective administration, a strong customer focus and a sustained can-do attitude.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess excellent attention to detail. As a Planning & Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the schedule of training delivery to our client’s UK network, managing short notice changes to the schedule, conflicting demands on resources, and the integrity of the resource data held within the scheduling system.
About the role:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the training delivery schedule for our clients’ UK Network.
* Work closely with colleagues in the Training Delivery team to resolve resource clashes and manage changes to the schedule.
* Responsible for the integrity of the data held within the scheduling tool and the clients’ Learning Management System (LMS).
* Work with multiple stakeholders to effectively prioritize and meet their requirements.
* Manage the interface between the scheduling tool and the LMS through which the Network book their training.
* Manage the allocation of resources against Purchase Orders where required.
* Ad-Hoc administrative requests as required.
Candidate Specifications:
* Solid administrative background, with attention to detail a strength.
* Detailed and accurate work ethos with an analytical mindset.
* Self-motivated and flexible; able to remain calm under pressure when dealing with conflicting demands and short lead times.
* Comfortable working with budgets and Purchase Orders.
Planning & Support Coordinator
* Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential.
* Previous experience of scheduling resources, or the use of scheduling systems.
* Strong problem-solving aptitude and excellent communication skills are essential; able to communicate at all levels.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Computer literate – Excel / Microsoft Word in particular.
* Comfortable working within a target driven environment.
Working Pattern and Location:
* 40 hours per week
* VW National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes. Applicants must be located within a commutable distance to Milton Keynes.
