Are you a qualified accountant looking for a new challenge? A Senior Accountant/Manager is required to join a boutique accountancy practice that is looking to expand its team. This is an opportunity to join an established firm that continues to go from strength to strength and is continuing to grow, and you can be a part of that ongoing growth and success.

The role is essentially a client manager, with a personal portfolio where you will be responsible for your clients’ day-to-day needs and for advisory services that will help these businesses adapt where needed and thrive in the future.

As Senior Accountant/Manager your responsibilities will include:

* Managing your own portfolio of clients

* All aspects of account production for a wide range of clients including SMEs, partnerships, sole traders and limited companies

* Preparation of year end accounts and corporate tax returns

* Personal tax and self-assessment returns

* VAT computations and returns

* Overseeing junior team members and outsourced bookkeeping service ensuring high quality output

* Being the main point of contact for clients

* ACA/ACCA qualified – an exceptional qualified by experience accountant may be considered

* Have at least five years’ post qualified experience gained within an accountancy practice

* Experience of managing a portfolio of small business clients

* Strong IT skills; MS Office and accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent

* Experience of working with outsourced bookkeeping services

* Solid accounts and tax experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
