We are looking for a Warehouse Department Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes, MK17 7AB! This is an opportunity for you to be part of our friendly team leading a strong operation!

Our client offers fashion, design and services, that enable people to be inspired and to express their own personal style. You will be helping to deliver the next trend in fashion working on behalf of one of the worlds largest fashion retailers.

You will receive an excellent pay rate as a Warehouse Department Manager:

£35,000 to £38,000 per annumYou will require to be flexible as you will be working some weekends and lates up to 8pm

Day to day:

As a Warehouse Department Manager you will lead, manage, and organize the outbound department (approx. 200 employees)
Maximize operational excellence, quality, efficiency, productivity
Lead the departments to ensure the smooth process flows
Max overall profitability through plan, budget & cost follow up
Manage and ensure logistic capacity needs in collaboration with the distribution centre manager
Responsible to ensure inventory counts are conducted
Lead identifying risks and resolve issues in daily outbound department operations to ensure optimal performance, and closely align with controlling and Import/ Export, where relevant
Recruit, develop and retain workforce according to capacity needs and forecasted capacity requirements
Drive continuous improvements in line with set targets for service, efficiency and cost

Lead and manage slotting & optimization of pick locationsOur ideal candidate:

Strong operational outbound expertise across online to effectively manage day-to-day execution
Good understanding of warehouse management system
Strong communication & coordination skills
