I am recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a vibrant Construction Company. They are a medium sized main contractor who specialise in fast track Design and Build projects average project size is around the £15 million mark but do bigger Projects up to about £30million. They have a fantastic working environment being a medium sized contractor you will recognised and rewarded for the hard work you put in as opposed to being just a number at the bigger main contractors. The Project
£15 million New build – Steel Frame – Distribution Warehouse Infrastructure & Construction of a 214,000Sq ft warehouse including fully fitted out 3 storeys 15,000sq ft office space including lifts and various Pod Offices. The Project will also include a VMU building, gatehouse’s, large car parking areas, together with 50m yard to both sides of the Warehouse. The Scheme is due to commence within the next 4 weeks and has a 45-week Programme. We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 1.5 years’ experience to support the commercial function on a large distribution warehouse, general duties would include: Procurement, Cost analysis for projects and valuation of works, Monitoring and managing the cost of site resources, Producing project cash flow forecasts, Developing strong relationships with both subcontractors and clients.
