Our Aylesbury based client is looking for an experienced Financial Administrator to join their term ASAP for 12 fixed months to help cover maternity leave.
They are the leading supplier in the UK & Ireland of specialist products and services relating to the testing and analysis of network security & performance (network management/troubleshooting/compliance, performance, optical & communication testing).
THIS POSITION IS BOTH HOME AND OFFICE BASED
Ideal Finance Administrator's will have experience in the following areas:
* Credit Control
* Purchase/Sales Ledger
* Expense Claims
* Petty Cash Handling
* Invoice Processing
Duties:
* Processing the sales invoice batches, processing sales ledger journals, updating reports of due and overdue invoices for Finance Director
* Post cash received
* Some credit control
* Running month end reports and closing on Sage
* Sending out customers monthly statements of account, by post or email
* Logging purchase ledger invoices and sending to the FD to accrue after month end
* Answering customer queries by email/telephone. Sending out copies of invoices if required
* Coding and processing purchase ledger invoices received without purchase orders
* Matching all supplier invoices to purchase orders, and obtaining authorisation for payment
* Query any incorrect supplier invoices by email/telephone
* Compiling and execution of monthly company expenses
* Preparing weekly foreign payment runs and twice monthly BACS payment runs for supplier invoices
* Sending remittances by email once payments have been made
* Posting these payments to Sage and allocating to the supplier invoices paid
* Logging and scanning monthly repairs and maintenance invoices for the FD
Requirements:
* A knowledge of Sage would be preferable, but training can be given
* Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload as required
* Proactive approach to tasks
* An understanding of compiling sales quotations and invoicing required
* Strong telephone manner
Monday – Friday: 09:00am – 17:00pm
Circa £25,000 per annum (paid a week in lieu)
