REGISTERED MANAGER

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week

JOB TYPE: Management, Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced REGISTERED MANAGER to join this special 25+bed residential care home in HP6, Bucks, and lead the delivery of outstanding residential care for older people and people living with dementia and other specialised needs.

The home offers a warm and friendly living environment with very positive feedback.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join, who can inspire, motivate and take this exclusive home forward to full occupancy and outstanding quality outcomes.

The qualities and skills we look for in our REGISTERED MANAGER

* Experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready for this progression.

* Minimum qualification NVQ QCF L5 desirable.

* Level 4 candidates willing to update will be considered.

* Excellent elderly / dementia care knowledge.

* Excellent residential care home experience.

* Strong CQC /compliancy and proven track record of achieving Good/Outstanding outcomes or successful turnaround experience.

* Empathy-backed professional and understanding attitude towards residents, families and co-workers is essential.

* Take full responsibility for ensuring high standards of professional practice which meets the needs of each resident.

* Conduct full audits and work collaboratively with group managers to promote better outcome for the home and residents.

* Ensure compliance with CQC standards.

* Ensure that all care staff receive regular supervision and that they receive the training and support necessary to facilitate their role.

* Staff recruitment and retention and undertake appraisals, assessments and reviews.

* Maintain and develop links in the local community creating opportunities

REGISTERED MANAGER

Staff are tested weekly. Residents tested monthly or when needed. Anyone showing any symptom sent home. Anyone with temperature 37.7 or more need to be isolated. All due care and attention adhered to.
