Engineering Training and Development Manager- PERM or Contract

Working for an expanding hi-tech engineering organisation you will oversee all training and development for a large team of engineers and operators. The business invests heavily into staff development, and they need someone who can ensure employees have the necessary skills and documentation to carry out their job to the best of their ability.

The actual training can be varied and can be done by yourself or internal or external teams, but you will need to be comfortable dealing with technical matters and will ideally come from a hands-on engineering background.

You will be base out of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility working with complex technical products mainly used for aerospace applications.

This would be the ideal role for someone who is working in a similar position or who has worked in a senior engineering manufacturing role where they are looking to pass on their knowledge and skills to people.

There will be elements of administration and recording of data, writing training materials understanding training manuals etc.

As well as a strong engineering knowledge we need a people person who is comfortable liaising with engineers at all levels across the business.

The role can either be perm or contract
