At present we are looking for an ILS Engineer to cover an initial 6 month contract.

This position is aligned to our Marlow site and is available on a remote basis with some ad-hoc travel to site.

The ILS Engineer will have strong experience in reliability and ideally have experience with RELEX/Windchill software

* Creates and manages the definition and requirements for a system, framework or product.

* Defines processes, system specifications, input/output, integration requirements.

* Providing advanced technical expertise to projects and product developments.

* Aligning technical solutions to organisational objectives to ensure the optimum business benefit.

* Application of advanced discipline domain knowledge to the design, development and delivery of new products, processes and technologies on time, within budget and with required quality Continued professional development of discipline competence and expertise to ensure own capability is leading edge. .

* Applies engineering principles and working knowledge to a range of difficult problems that require imaginative and practical solutions.

* Has technical responsibility for planning and conducting these small technical projects or phases of projects and may coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and/or technicians as required.

Essential

* Reliability Prediction to piece part level

* Experience in the use of MIL-HDBK-217 and RIAC-217Plus using RELEX/Windchill software

* Failure Mode Effects Analysis to functional block level

* Maintainability and Testability Analysis

Desirable

* Experience in the use of MIL-HDBK-217 and RIAC-217Plus using RELEX/Windchill software

* FMEA to MIL-STD-1629A

* LSA

* Support Equipment

* Maintenance of ILS Plans

* Support customer ILS reviews
