Quantity Surveyor Milton Keynes

A small, fast -growing building company based in Milton Keynes specialising in extensions, garden offices and small building works with an annual turnover of up to £2 million are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our small dynamic team to help build the company further with an opportunity to obtain shares and directorship.

We are looking for a Quantity Survey with experience in general building work, extensions and renovations and managing the quantity surveying function for all job site contracts. You must be able to provide quotations for all works, as well as regular visits to check the progress of work, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard. You must be able to read and prepare drawings of projects.

The ideal candidate must have the following experience:

* Strong background working as a quantity surveyor/estimator

* Asbestos awareness

* Proven track record of working on projects from inception to completion

* Portfolio of projects

* Deadline focused.

* Strong negotiation skills

* Computer literate with strong mathematical skills

* Skills to price jobs from £15,000 up to £200,000 plus

* Full, clean driving licence with access to own vehicle

The role is Monday – Friday, with some Saturday work as required.
