Looking for a sneaker head and fashion addict to join our team as a sales assistant in our new streetwear concept store opening this year September. HYPESCAPE is a family run business, looking to introduce the streetwear culture to our community in Marlow. The store will be located on the High Street of Marlow, a fab area of Buckinghamshire.
This job will entail 8 hour shifts (40 per week) from 10am to 5:30pm, either four or five days a week. Work will be required on every Saturday 10am to 5:30pm
Job Description
* Open and lock up the store
* Act as store key-holder
* Operate till and POS System, accept cash and credit/debit card and cashing up
* Price stock in line with company procedures and prices
* Steam all products daily, and before any item is brought out to the store
* Make customers aware of product promotions and offers
* Assist with unloading of deliveries and storage of stock
* Check stock levels as/when requested
* Provide excellent customer service and proactive approach to tasks
* Notify Company of any items that need to be re-stocked in store, whether stock, consumables or office products
* Maintain a clean and tidy store
* Act as store fire marshal
* Manage any events at the store
* Provide assistance to customers in a professional and courteous manner
Ideal Candidate
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of the brands, products and trends
* Knowledge and familiarity with sneaker manufacturing, fabrications, and construction
* Experience working in a luxury retail store is desirable
* You will be working in the retail store by yourself some days of the week, so you must be a reliable and dedicated staff member
* Act in a professional manner at all times
* Friendly and outgoing person
* Attention to detail
* Strong sales and communication skills required
Retail experience compulsory
