Our client who is based in Aylesbury town centre are looking to recruit a Charge hand to join their waste transfer team.

You will be assisting with the co-ordination of waste transfer in and out of the depot by loading trailers with waste. You will have the responsibility of meeting visitors arriving on site and directing members of the public.

The Charge hand will have a formal telehandler driver qualification, hold a valid forklift licence and hold a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:
Waste handling in and out of the waste transfer station, driving heavy machinery vehicles including a telehandler and forklift truck.
Daily start and end checks, odour management, litter management, drain management, permitted waste and more.
Open and close the site
Complete site paperwork

Requirements to be successful:
Hold a valid telehandler licence (CPCS)
Hold a valid forklift licence
Ability to challenge breaches in health and safety and report incidents and accidents
Ability to monitor stock supplies of PPE and place orders as required

£11.34 per hour
