CNC Setter/ Operator Position Overview

My client are a growing sub-contract precision engineering company with an excellent reputation and are looking for another setter operator to keep their Hurco 3&5 axis milling machines running.

The successful applicant will be required to read technical drawings, source material and set tooling and datums as well as be confident in proving new programs. You will be using modern equipment to produce small to medium batch size orders in a variety of material.

CNC Setter/ Operator Position Requirements

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Demonstrate a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, quality awareness and time management.
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Work to tight deadlines
At times, be able to work under pressure
To have a flexible approach
Experience working with Hurco machines would be a strong advantage

CNC Setter/ Operator Position Remuneration

Full time, permanent employment
00 16.30 Monday – Thursday (phone number removed) Friday
Pension scheme
Holiday-20 days + 5 (extra day a year)
