Construction Manager | Aylesbury | Up to £60,000 plus package

I am currently recruiting for a Construction Manager to work on a large £100m+ package of works on HS2. Ideal individuals will have experience working for a main contractor on major civil engineering or earthworks schemes. My client is happy to look at Sub Agents and Site Agents who are looking to progress to Construction Manager on a major project.

Knowledge and Required Skills:
• Experience of a bulk earthworks environment and a strong interest in the discipline.
• Knowledge of earthworks plant, use of the correct item of plant for the application, and earthworks production outputs.
• Knowledge of the SHW Series 600
• Demonstrable experience of planning the works and use of programming software (preferably Asta Powerproject)
• Basic knowledge of modern survey / setting out techniques, software used, limitations and applications of the various techniques.
• Knowledge of the NEC contract, the site contract specifically, and the works that are both allowed for and not allowed for within the contract to allow identification of additional works.
• Experience of compiling QA records in an accurate and methodical manner. Drafting of ITP’s
• SMSTS qualification.
