RF Deign Engineer

Our client, a privately owned, dynamic wireless communications company are looking to expand their Design Engineering Team. The company have extensive experience in the DAS & Inbuilding fields, having worked on some high profile & brilliant projects

Overview:

Ideally you will bring a strong DAS/ in building background to the role with experience in radio surveys & design and good knowledge of installation and commissioning of projects. You will be proficient in DAS & In Building solutions along with MS Office 365 including MS visio

The role offers the Design Engineer the ability to be creative whilst working inside of set templates with a freedom of expression to be included through the designs.

Main Responsibilities:

* Manage a range of multi operator JOTs full detailed design submissions, taking ownership of the technical specification and ensuring delivery on time and within scope.

* Remote and local troubleshooting of in-building dedicated, RFoF, & Small Cell deployed solutions. Liaising with both the client and colleagues. The ability to spot potential errors through analysis of collected data.

* Produce, review, and evaluate detailed designs proposals, commissioning reports and handover reports.

* Be an integral member of the Survey & Design team.

* Provide support through build & acquisition to ensure a smooth delivery.

Candidate Profile:

* Be an integral member of the Survey & Design team.

* Strong customer facing skills interfacing with high profile customers i.e. UK Mobile Operators. Providing technical assistance where necessary.

* Professional approach including good communication skills, especially with the client.

* Must demonstrate an ability to learn and adapt to new disciplines and techniques.

* Must be prepared to work away from home in the field conducting site visits.

* Full UK driving licence. Preferably clean.
