We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team at our Milton Keynes Community Equipment Service Centre.
Our job as a healthcare equipment provider is to supply the necessary aids for day to day life. We have found that even the simplest of equipment, such as a walker or minor adaptations to the home such as the installation of handrails, can make a significant impact in giving people the confidence to live independently.
The Role:
* Stock management including labelling and logging of the equipment
* Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the field based technicians
* Continual updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
* Responsible for ensuring decontamination of the community equipment is carried out in line with MHRA guidelines
* To correctly quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is correctly documented, logged and filed creating a clear audit trail
* Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
* Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of our equipment including PAT testing
About you:
* Computer literate – previous experience of using stock management systems or a scanner
* Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial
* Excellent communication skills to interact with internal staff and suppliers
* Be able to work using own initiative but also work well as a part of a team
* Full UK driving licence is preferred

* Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm (40 hours)
