Our Milton Keynes-based client is looking for an experienced Customer service administrator for a six month assignment. This position will be office-based and the successful candidate will have a strong background within customer service and internal sales:

Position: Customer service administrator

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Salary: £13 per hour (DOE)

The job will involve…

Handling all incoming customer queries and questions via email / phone in relation to pricing, orders, stock availability, delivery status plus an adhoc queries.
Providing quotations and processing orders in a timely manner as per company procedures.
Ensuring all customers are kept informed about the progress of orders
Working closely with internal departments and account managers to achieve the best outcome for all customers
Producing despatch notes and liaising with freight forwarders
Resolving customer complaints and issuing debit / credit notes as needed and escalating any problematic issues to management as and when they arise
Maintaining the company CRM system
Handling payment transactions
Monitoring and completing the weekly KPI
Adhoc administration duties as requested
Aftersales care
The Person will…

Have experienced working within customer service and internal sales (2 years minimum)
SAP experience (desirable)
Experience of Microsoft packages – particularly Excel
Be able to communicate effectively in order to build rapport, show empathy and understand customer queries
Be proactive, reliable, self-motivating and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
