Quality Manager

Salary £30,000 to £45,000 per annum

Hours of work: Monday to Friday standard day shift 39-hour week

Bonus: Performance related bonus

A precision engineering organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of custom mechanical solutions are seeking a Quality Manager.

Qualification & skills – Quality Manager

Minimum of five years as a Quality Engineer or equivalent experience.

Gear and transmission knowledge an advantage but not critical- training given.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and manage in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with inspection methods, coordinate measuring machines and test equipment NDT, processes, heat treating.

Working knowledge of applicable manufacturing and quality requirements including ISO 9001, AS 9100.

Proficient in the use of personal computers, blueprint reading, geometric tolerances, and application of SPC to the manufacturing process.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and public speaking skills, and an understanding of aerospace requirements
