Dealer Fleet Coach
Field-based – South
We are looking for a high-performing Area Manager to join ROI in an established team delivering Dealer Fleet Coaching to dealerships selling Nissan vehicles to fleet and business customers. The role will be field-based, supporting c.14 dealerships mainly based in the south of the UK (including the South East).
You will represent ROI on an ‘off headcount’ basis, working alongside Heads of Business and Local Business Development Specialists developing the performance of the Dealer Fleet Programme responsible for selling Nissan. The focus is to increase dealer fleet sales within a defined local area using SME Business Campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for the dealerships engaged in the Nissan Dealer Fleet programmes within a geographical territory.
Dealer Fleet Coach Responsibilities:
Motivate and empower the Heads of Business / Dealer Principals to get the best out of the business development (B2B) program
Support the Local Business Development Managers within dealerships in SME fleet prospecting and account management
Support the development of the local B2B sales strategy
Embed prospecting best practice, including standards, CRM and account management.
Management, coaching and supporting dealer’s performance versus target
Measurement of dealerships against programme standards and supporting Local Business Development Managers to improve accordingly
Developing the performance of the fleet specialists in order to increase local business fleet sales
Ensuring that Business Centres that are part of the program are engaged with standards, continuously improve and give customers a market-leading experience
Supporting the Heads of Business and Local Business Development Managers in optimising the use of technology to facilitate the sales process.
Dealer Fleet Coach Requirements:
We are interested to hear from candidates possessing demonstrable experience in local business development, ideally gained in a fleet and business sales environment; you should be able to influence people and inspire confidence.
In addition, you should be able to demonstrate:
Considerable credibility in the automotive industry and a strong knowledge of fleet and business sales. You should personally possess a track record in sales and a good understanding of the B2B process.
Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine ‘customer first’ approach
Business planning skills; you should be comfortable writing realistic business plans and delivering them through others
Excellent knowledge of CRM, in addition to a working knowledge of Excel or similar sales management tools
Overall you should possess a strong sense of accountability and sales discipline, particularly with respect to CRM management / hygiene.

Location: Field based covering the South of England
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: up to £44,000 + package, bonus, car.
